How did we get to 2010?

Photobucket

I suspect the same way we always have: waking up, going to sleep, watching sitcoms, &c.

Still, kind of a jolt. Like encountering this projection at a black light-themed NYE party.

Or this blacklit collection of neon paper.

In other news, Raw Food Week began today. I'd forgotten what carrots taste like. And seed cheese. JK. I never had seed cheese til just now. (Pretty good, tbt.)

'70s DIY books from Dan for Xmas. Really perfect.

VISIONS for 2010:

>>JRNL AGAIN. I haven't done this regularly for probably five years, and I must say, I miss it. The setting/characters may change, but the themes never do. I've been wrtg more or less the same sentences since I was seven—in handwriting that, every year, becomes a little less precise.

>>PICK UP THE PEN—or the laptop, but that doesn't rhyme—and oft, continuing all efforts to make freelance work WORK. (Time mgmt, etc. ad infinitum. Invoices flooding inboxes like killer waves!)

>>READ OFTEN. I have such a hard time retaining stories + info. I've read, so not only do I want to read a lot of books this year, but I also want to try writing mini reviews/responses to what I've read, too. Possibly on this here blog(?)

>>HOT AS CAYENNE. (Yikes! Reached far—too far—for that one.) In any case, I want to go to some hot or at least warmish places this season + year, beginning with California in February and onward and elsewhere intermittently until winter melts. Meanwhile, I will at least plug in my full spectrum lamp and up the D3 intake. I mean, let's be serious: It's bone-rattling cold!
